Boundless

“Boundless” is an exhibition that invites you to step into the unique worlds of six international artists. Through their distinct visual languages, use of materials, scales, and presentation styles, Alexandra Puşcaş, Warre Mulder, Francis Vanhee, Bob Geerts, Julien Jaca, and Mingrui Jiang each take you on a journey into their own universe.
Monumental painting installations dominate the main altar. Sketches reach out toward the artist’s studio. Translucent glass forms hang weightlessly in the space. Two-dimensional figures and mythical creatures seem to come straight out of a contemporary mythology, while the visual language of religious tattoo culture and cross-shaped symbolism reference the architecture and origins of the former St. Anthony’s Church.

“Boundless” showcases what defines MOYA: a place where a wide variety of contemporary art forms converge. An exhibition that transcends national borders and takes you from one world to another: move between harmony and disharmony, reality and imagination, and the familiar and the unknown.
